Southern Lehigh softball Head Coach Brian Neefe is back for his 44th year.  Despite a successful 2014 regular season, the Spartans ended last year with back to back losses in the Colonial League and District semifinals. Neefe sees the confidence in his girls this year as they'll expect to win every time they take the field and challenge for a Colonial League and District title in 2015.

     Seniors Jenn Dalickas and Dior George each connected on homers as the Moravian College softball team extended its winning streak to 10 games opening the 2015 Landmark Conference schedule with a doubleheader sweep of Elizabethtown, 2-0 and 7-0, at Blue & Grey Field Friday.

Emmaus Boys Lacrosse rolls past CCHS

Mother Nature and wet fields continued to wreak havoc on the area scholastic schedule this afternoon.  Fortunately some teams play on turf, and the defending District 11 Emmaus boys lacrosse team was looking forward to getting to the five hundred mark tonight after losing to Manheim 10-5 on Tuesday. Dan Dolphin's Central Catholic Vikings, down a bit last season, made their way to the Boro to face the Green Hornets at Memorial Field.  Central would take a 2-0 lead early, but Emmaus went up 4-2 after 1, led 11-3 at the break and roll to a 15-5 victory.  The Green Hornets next host Delaware Valley on Monday and Parkland on Wednesday.
