Bethlehem Catholic beat Easton 33-24 in a battle of LVC unbeatens Saturday night, putting the Golden Hawks on the verge of their second straight conference crown.

Easton stormed out to an 18-3 lead, winning in most the upper weight bouts to forge ahead.

But the Golden Hawks roared back in the light weights, rallying to beat Easton for the second straight year to claim the LVC title.

Becahi won 8 of the match's 14 bouts.

The Golden Hawks will clinch the LVC Championship with a win Wednesday night over Freedom, or an Emmaus loss to Parkland.

Becahi and Easton will be the likely No. 1 seeds in next weekend's District 11 dual meet tournament.

The Golden Hawks, the two-time defending district and state champions, will be the top seed in the 2A bracket.

Easton will likely be the top seed in the 3A field.
