Becahi blasts Saucon Valley forDistrict 11 title

Bethlehem Catholic won its third straight District 11 2A title Saturday night, rolling past Saucon Valley 53-9 at Freedom High School.

The Golden Hawks showed why they're considered one of the top teams in the country in a matchup of the LVC and Colonial League champions.

Becahi will now focus on trying to win a third consecutive PIAA 2A state championship in Hershey this coming weekend.

Saucon Valley will wrestle in a pigtail match on Monday. The site, time, and opponent for that match have yet to be officially determined.
