At this point in the wrestling season, things become very simple for certain teams.
Brandywine knows this all too well.
The Bullets came into the night as one of the last teams to have a chance at the BCIAA Team Tournament this weekend. They had to win Thursday to earn their spot. With a loss, the bid would go to Wyomissing.
That win would have to come on the road at Oley Valley against a Lynx team celebrating senior night.
Oley grabbed a 30-12 lead midway through the dual, but Brandywine Heights would not be denied. The Bullets won the final six bouts to claim a 45-30 victory.
Chris Langston's victory over Eric McNamara in the 195 lb. class proved to be pivotal. His win gave the Bullets a 33-30 lead and they never looked back.
Brandywine Heights (4-2, 11-6) will face Governor Mifflin (6-1, 14-3) in the BCIAA Quarterfinals Saturday at noon in Wyomissing.
