Former New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Remi Ayodele blasted Anthony Hargrove on Sunday, after his former teammate claimed that it was Ayodele who said "give me my money" in a video clip after a hit on Brett Favre in the 2009 NFC title game. The NFL, in its investigation of the Saints' bounty program, had claimed it was Hargrove who made the comments, but in an interview that aired Sunday on ESPN's "Outside The Lines," Hargrove claimed it was Ayodele. Hargrove was suspended eight games by the NFL as a result of the investigation. The ban was later overturned by former commissioner Paul Tagliabue but the defensive lineman ended up sitting out the entire 2012 season. "I lost a whole year of football. I lost a 401K pension. I lost my severance pay. I lost a great deal of myself because of the lack of professionalism here in the NFL," Hargrove told ESPN. "Just because they say, 'hey move on,' we're supposed to be fine with it. No, I don't think so. I think we've just begun." Hargrove said he believed the NFL decided to punish the Saints because of the concussion lawsuits filed against the league by former players so it could show that while players say the league doesn't care about them, it could accuse players of "paying each other to take each other out." Ayodele posted his rebuttal to Hargrove on Twitter Sunday night. In a series of tweets he wrote: "OMG just heard about Hargrove on outside the line lmfao REALLY kid u that broke?? I'm the reason u missed a whole year?? ... get real kid ur done I said NOTHING nobody on the team did I'm still trying to figure out this bounty what's he talking bout?
