HS BOYS RUNDOWN: CCHS tops Parkland, runs win streak to 12
The Central Catholic boys extended their winning streak to 12 straight games Tuesday night, earning a 56-43 win at Parkland.
In a matchup between the top two teams in the LVC, the Vikings seized the inside track for the top seed in the upcoming LVC tournament.
Muhammad Abdur-Rahkmin had a game-high 23 points, 15 of which came in the first quarter.
Brian McCarthy added 11 for the Vikings. Jean Lee Baez, who picked up three fouls in the first 1:12 of the game, ended up with 8 points.
Austin Beidelman led the Trojans with 17 points.
Elsewhere in the LVC, Freedom picked up a 68-61 win at Emmaus in a matchup of two teams in the thick of the playoff race.
