The Bethlehem Catholic girls beat Bonner-Prendergast 60-43 on Saturday in the first round of the PIAA 3A playoffs at Allen High School.

Kalista Walters poured in 32 points to lead the Golden Hawks, who blew open a tie game at the half.

The Southern Lehigh girls dropped a close one in Montoursville, falling 60-57 to Scranton Prep in their PIAA 3A state playoff opener.

The Spartans end their season as Colonial League champions and District 11 3A runners-up.
