The Liberty, Freedom, and Parkland boys all advanced in the District 11 playoffs on Saturday, while Bethlehem Catholic moved on in the girls bracket.

No. 2 Liberty trailed No. 7 Emmaus late, but rallied to score a flurry of points late in overtime to earn a 52-49 win at Allen's Sewards Gym.

The Hurricanes advance face No. 6 Parkland, which beat Colonial League champion Bangor 63-51 at Pleasant Valley.

Liberty and Parkland will meet in a 4A semifinal Wednesday night that will double as a rematch of last week's LVC title game.

No. 4 Freedom beat No. 5 Easton 40-32 at Sewards Gym.  The Patriots will face No. 9 Stroudsburg, which upset No. 1 seed and defending Pocono Mountain West 69-59.

On the girls side, No. 3 Bethlehem Catholic earned a 60-41 win over No. 6 Palmerton in the District 11 3A quarterfinals.

The Golden Hawks will face No. 2 Central Catholic in Wednesday's semifinal round.

No. 4 Northwestern fell to No. 5 North Schuylkill 31-29.  North Schuylkill will face No. 1 Southern Lehigh in the semifinals.
