Realignment isn't the only thing the NHL has been working on. The league is in talks with the International Olympic Committee and NHL Players' Association about players participating in the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. "The process is ... continuing, but it isn't yet resolved," Commissioner Gary Bettman said Thursday. Blackhawks winger Marian Hossa would welcome a chance to play in his fourth Olympics for Slovakia. "Players enjoy once every four years to represent their country," Hossa said. "It's always an honor when the best players are playing this top tournament in the world. It's a great idea. Every four years, I don't think it's going to hurt anybody." At 34 and having suffered a serious concussion last season, Hossa said he would play for his country again if he is injury-free. "If I'm healthy I'd definitely like to," Hossa said. "It's in a year, so it's not like it's four years from now." Geography: Coach Joel Quenneville said he's pleased with realignment, which will have the Hawks in the Western Conference "B Division" with the Jets, Wild, Blues, Avalanche, Predators and Stars.
