Indiana held on to the No. 1 spot in the AP media poll for the third consecutive week.
The poll was released Monday.
The Hoosiers (23-3) got 43 of 65 first place votes. No. 2 Miami (21-3) moved up a spot from last week and received 20 top votes. No. 3 Gonzaga (25-2) received the remaining two votes as it climbed two spots.
Michigan State leaped from eighth to No. 4 after wins over Michigan and Nebraska. The Spartans (22-4) take on visiting Indiana Tuesday.
Florida moved up from seventh to No. 5 and Duke fell from second to No. 6 after a loss at Maryland.
The rest of the top 10 includes Michigan, Syracuse, Kansas and Louisville.
VCU climbed into the top 25 at No. 24. The Rams replaced Kentucky, which fell out of the No. 25 spot after losing to Florida and Tennessee last week.
