Kevin Garnett (left adductor strain) did not participate in the Celtics' shootaround here Monday morning and he is considered a game-time decision for this evening's game against Miami at TD Garden. Garnett missed the Celtics last game Saturday against Charlotte and then sat out practice Sunday with the injury, which is located in the thigh area. Celtics coach Doc Rives said Sunday that Garnett is "50/50 at best" to play against Miami, which enters the game on a 22-game winning streak. Rivers stressed Sunday that he doesn't believe the injury is that serious and he said it ranked as a "1" on a scale of 1 to 10. "I don’t think it’s that serious," Rivers said Sunday, "but it’s just a point in the year where you’re just not going to play him if he’s not feeling great." Center Chris Wilcox suffered a similar injury last season, missed the final game before the All-Star break, and returned six days later. The 36-year-old Garnett is averaging 14.8 points and 7.8 rebounds this season.
