KUTZTOWN, Pa. -

The Kutztown men's basketball team has struggled this year and it's not difficult to see why.  Go to any game in the last month or so and you'll see they are playing with one of the shortest benches in NCAA history because of injuries.

The Golden Bears have played most of their PSAC games with six or seven players.  They weren't even going to have that on Saturday, so their game with Millersville was pushed back to Monday so that the team would be healthy enough to even play the game.

The Golden Bears did not show any signs of fatigue for the most part. KU led for a majority of the game, but could not hold onto a six-point late and fell to the Marauders, 66-59, in overtime.

Micah Fraction had another outstanding game for Kutztown, dropping a game-high  30 points. Ryan Connolly added 16, but no other Golden Bear had more than 6 points.

KU is still in the hunt for a playoff spot with three games remaining. All those games come against teams with losing records, including Wednesday's showdown with Cheyney.
