La Salle outguns Nazareth in PIAA state quarterfinals
Nazareth falls to La Salle
Nazareth's historic season came to an end on Saturday in a 41-33 loss to La Salle College in the PIAA 4A state quarterfinals at Frank Banko Field at BASD Stadium.
Nazareth finishes the season at 12-2 after winning its first ever LVC and District 11 4A Championships.
The Blue Eagles never led in the game, and trailed by much as 35-20 before whittling the lead down to 35-33 in the fourth quarter.
Danny Harding threw for 282 yards and a touchdown in his last high school game.
Tim Wade totaled 245 yards and three touchdowns for La Salle, which is now one win away from its third consecutive trip to Hershey.
