Lehigh women roll; Lafayette beats buzzer, earns comeback win in OT
The Lehigh and Lafayette women each picked up Patriot League wins Saturday night.
Lehigh hosted its annual Think Pink game to promote breast cancer awareness, and celebrated with a 62-40 win over Colgate at Stabler Arena.
Kerry Kinek had 16 points and seven rebounds to pace the Mountain Hawks, who improve to 4-6 in the Patriot League.
The Lafayette women snapped a two-game losing streak with a thrilling 66-61 overtime win at Bucknell.
The Leopards trailed by 16 points at the half, but stormed back in the second half.
Alicia Manning hit a jumper at the buzzer to force overtime, where the Leopards eventually won.
Maddie Peabody had a team-high 15 points, while Kelly Loughney added 14.
Danielle Fiacco had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Leopards, who improve to 4-6 in the Patriot League.
