The Lehigh men had their win streak snapped at eight Saturday night in an 80-79 loss to Bryant at Stabler Arena.

The Mountain Hawks trailed for most of the game, but battled back to take a lead late in regulation.

But Frankie Dobbs drove the length of the court and scored the game-winning basket with just 1.3 seconds left.

C.J. McCollum, who missed Lehigh's last game with an ankle injury, returned to score a game-high 34 points for the Mountain Hawks.


The Lehigh women earned an impressive win in round one of the Christmas City Classic.

Central Catholic grad Becky Guman scored a career-high 18 points to lead the Mountain Hawks to a 67-37 win over Binghamton at Stabler Arena.

The Mountain Hawks will face Boston University in round two of the Christmas City Classic on Sunday at 4:30pm.


The Lafayette women got a double-double from sophomore Emily Homan in a 54-50 road win at Fordham in the opening round of the Fordham Holiday Classic.

Homan had 14 points and 13 rebounds while Danielle Fiacco scored 16 and added nine boards.

The win was the second straight for the Leopards, who advance to the tournament's championship game against Providence Sunday at 3pm.


The DeSales men won the opening game of the Red Robin Holiday Tournament, beating Penn State-Abington 99-84 at Billera Hall.

Brett Moyer was one of four Bulldogs in double figures, leading the way with 19 points.

DeSales will face Centenary in the championship game on Sunday at 4pm.
