Muhlenberg and Albright each improved to 3-0 with impressive road wins on Saturday.

The Mules posted a 33-0 shutout win at McDaniel, while Albright earned a 27-13 win at Wilkes.

Delaware Valley also won, beating Stevenson 34-10 on the road for its first win of the season.

Moravian fell 49-15 at Johns Hopkins to drop to 1-2 on the season.

At the Division II level, for the second straight week, Kutztown played in a nationally-ranked showdown.  And for the second straight week, KU lost in a high-scoring heartbreaker.

The 23rd-ranked Golden Bears fell 44-37 at No. 11 Bloomsburg, dropping to 1-2 on the year.

The loss comes one week after KU lost 48-45 to No. 10 California (PA) at University Field.

Senior quarterback Kevin Morton became Kutztown's all-time leader in passing yardage, setting his second career record this season, but left the game due to injury in the second half and did not return.

Morton went 16-of-21 for 182 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. The shortened day gave him 9,184 career yards, passing the record Andy Breault's record of 9,096 yards.

Josh Luckenbaugh finished the game in relief and went 16-of-24 for 194 yards and two scores with one interception.
