Nazareth tops Easton for District 11 title
Nazareth beat Easton 28-21 at Andrew S. Leh Stadium Saturday night to capture its first District 11 championship since 1989.
After falling behind 14-0 in the first quarter, the Blue Eagles scored 28 unanswered points en route to the District 4A crown.
Danny Harding passed for 269 yards and three touchdowns to three differente recievers, with all three coming in the first half.
Freshman running back Jordan Gray carried 36 times for 148 yards and a touchdown to help close out the game for Nazareth.
Easton, which had won the last two District 11 4A championships, was playing in its second game in three days and its third game in eight days.
