Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari has a chip fracture in his left foot.
He suffered the injury in Monday night's game with the Houston Rockets when he rolled his left ankle in the third quarter.
X-rays revealed a chip fracture in his left foot and he'll undergo further testing Tuesday to determine the extent of the injury.
"Nervous. Nervous that I'm going to be out for a while," Gallinari said after the game.
The 23-year-old recently signed a four-year, $42 million deal with the Nuggets.
Gallinari is averaging 17 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for Denver this season.
