Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis was activated from the 15-day disabled list on Sunday and expected to be in the lineup against the Houston Astros.

The 28-year-old Davis led the majors in home runs (53) and RBIs (138) last season and had been sidelined since April 25 due to an oblique strain.

Davis needed only one minor league rehab game. He is off to a slow start this season prior to the injury, batting .250 with two homers and 13 RBIs in his first 22 games.
