For Daniel Boone, it's the start of a new era.

Dave Bodolus resigned at the end of last season after a string of nine straight postseason appearances with the Blazers. He also won 3 sectional titles in the span, the most recent coming in 2010.

In steps Bill Parks for his first season at the helm of Boone.

It's not just Dave Bodolus that is being replaced either, but also his son and last year's quarterback Tommy Bodolus.

Parks is well aware of the shadow he's walking in, and has sad that his team will continue to play Boone football. But that's not to say he hasn't brought his own philosophy to the table, for a team that has united under adversity.
