Jimmy Howard made 33 saves for his first shutout of the season as the Detroit Red Wings snapped a five-game winless streak on Saturday, defeating the Nashville Predators 4-0 at home. On Sunday, the Red Wings will try to build on that victory when they host the Vancouver Canucks. Defenseman Niklas Kronwall led the way with three points against Nashville as Detroit finished 1-for-2 on the power play after going 1-for-17 during its slide. Pavel Datsyuk added two assists in the win and has 10 points in his last seven games.The Canucks also shut out the Predators as Roberto Luongo stopped 23 shots at Nashville on Friday and are 2-0-1 on their four-game road trip.
