Wake Forest looks to snap a three-game losing streak and gain momentum heading into the ACC tournament when the Demon Deacons host Virginia Tech in the regular-season finale Sunday. Wake Forest has dropped 11 of its last 14 games, including a 66-65 loss to the Hokies on Jan. 19. After an 81-66 loss to North Carolina State on Tuesday, the Demon Deacons are tied for 10th in the conference.The Hokies are in last place in the ACC, one full game behind Wake Forest, but could earn the 11th seed in the tournament via tiebreaker with a win Sunday. Harris leads the Demon Deacons with 14.8 points per game while Travis McKie averages 13.9 points and 7.2 rebounds. After scoring in double figures in 10 straight games, Harris has scored nine points in two of his last three games. Devin Thomas pitches in 8.7 points and a team-high 7.7 boards for Wake Forest, which ranks last in the ACC in assist-to-turnover ratio (.8) and second to last in rebounding margin (minus-2.4). Thomas and McKie are ninth and 10th in the conference among individual rebounders.ABOUT VIRGINIA TECH (13-17, 4-13): Erick Green, the nation's leading scorer, averages 25 points per game. Green shoots 48.1 percent from the floor and 48.1 percent from the foul line, and scored 22 against Wake Forest earlier this season.
