Reading's Battle of the Badges set for February 10

READING, Pa. -

The Royals have once again teamed up with the Reading fire and police departments to host the eighth annual Battle of the Badges. The two groups will square off in a hockey game with the winner earning the FirstStates Cup and bragging rights.

The showdown has been set for February 10 at 12:30 on the Sovereign Center ice.

The Royals will follow it up with a game of their own against the Kalamazoo Wings. That puck drops at 4:05.

One ticket gives entry to both games that day. A portion of every ticket sold will benefit the Battle of the Badges Scholarship Fund.
