No. 3 Gonzaga 81, San Diego 50: Kevin Pangos scored 18 points as the host Bulldogs won their 12th West Coast Conference regular-season title in the last 13 years with a rout of the Toreros.Player of the Year candidate Kelly Olynyk had 14 points and nine rebounds for Gonzaga (27-2, 14-0), which has won 10 straight over San Diego and 32 of the last 34 meetings. The Bulldogs turned a 14-point halftime lead into a 64-32 bulge with 11:09 to go.Elias Harris added 12 points and five rebounds as Gonzaga won the battle of the boards 38-22. Pangos, Olynyk and Harris combined to shoot 16-for-20 from the field.Chris Manresa scored 19 points for the Toreros (13-16, 6-8), who lost to Gonzaga 65-63 on Feb. 2 - the Bulldogs' only WCC victory by less than five points. San Diego has lost four straight and eight of its last 10 games.Pangos scored six of his 13 first-half points during a 12-4 run which gave Gonzaga its largest lead of the opening period - 35-17 - en route to a 37-23 advantage at the break. Three-point plays by Olynyk and Harris started the second-half onslaught, which also included three 3-pointers by Drew Barham.GAME NOTEBOOK: Gonzaga has won 43 of its last 44 WCC games at home. ... The Bulldogs entered third in the country in field goal percentage at 50.7 and shot 54.5 percent Saturday. ... Gonzaga, which defeated Santa Clara 85-42 on Wednesday, has won its last six games since the first meeting with San Diego by an average of 24.3 points.
