Stars 4, Flames 3: Loui Eriksson scored twice as Dallas concluded its four-game homestand with its first win in five games.Eriksson, Eric Nystrom and Erik Cole recorded first-period goals for the Stars, who scored just three times during their four-game winless streak (0-3-1). Eriksson added the eventual game-winner in the third session and Kari Lehtonen stopped 16 shots.Jiri Hudler and defenseman Jay Bouwmeester scored power-play goals in the second period for Calgary, which fell to 4-8-0 against Pacific Division opponents. Alex Tanguay added a tallyl with 4:46 remaining in the third, but the Flames couldn't complete the rally with Joey MacDonald (20 saves) pulled for an extra attacker.Eriksson completed a broken play with linemates Jamie Benn and Ray Whitney with just under eight minutes remaining in the game, flipping a loose puck over a sprawled MacDonald to give Dallas a two-goal cushion. Whitney also set up Eriksson's first goal and has four points in as many contests since returning from a broken foot.Cole opened the scoring 13 minutes into the game with his second goal for Dallas when his centering attempt deflected off Calgary defenseman Derek Smith in the slot. Nystrom and Eriksson made it 3-0 after 20 minutes, but Hudler and Bouwmeester cut the deficit to one in the second as the Flames finished 2-for-4 with the man advantage.GAME NOTEBOOK: The Flames and Stars combined for 25 goals in their three-game season series, which Calgary won (2-1-0). … Dallas LW Antoine Roussel was hooked on a breakaway and awarded a penalty shot 8:24 into the first period, but his backhand attempt missed the net. … Calgary G Miikka Kiprusoff missed the game due to the birth of his second child. Kiprusoff may rejoin the Flames before the end of their three-game road trip, which includes stops in Nashville on Thursday and Columbus on Friday.
