San Jose Sharks forward Ryane Clowe is scheduled to have his supplemental disciplinary hearing over the phone today at 1pm et. Clowe waived his right for an in-person hearing. The 30-year-old winger was suspended Saturday by the league pending a hearing after he left his team's bench to start an altercation late in San Jose's 2-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday. If it is determined Clowe left the bench illegally, he will automatically be given a 10-game suspension and the Sharks will be fined. Even if the NHL determines that Clowe left the bench legally, he could still be disciplined. In 16 games with the Sharks this season Clowe has six assists and is a minus-1.
