The Southern Lehigh boys basketball team got off to a 2-2 start under first year coach Ben Tannous. He feels they have the most depth in the Colonial League, and he'll need his bench as the Spartans will play three games in three straight nights against South Division foes. Tonight the Spartans began that tough stretch welcoming Saucon Valley to Center Valley. The Panthers entered this one with an 0-3 record, and those losses had been by an average of 15 points.

-1st quarter Saucon's Keith Mosher gets the back door pass and the runner to go…Mosher led all scorers with 28pts.

-Saucon up 38-26 at the break, 2nd half action, Saucon works it around then inside to Matt Smith, who lays it in, he finished with 11 points

-In the 4th Southern Lehigh coming back…Troy Reppert drives, then dishes to Jacob Cassel underneath, he goes off glass for the bucket to tie it up at 60 a piece to force overtime.

-In the extra period, Southern Lehigh's Mike Zabrecky feeds Noah Kandt, he drains the jumper…Kandt was a perfect 13 for 13 from the free throw line, finishing with a team high 25 total pts…Spartans come back to win in OT, 72-66
