BROOKLYN, N.Y. -

Former KU basketball standout Stephen Dennis has a real shot with an NBA team.

The Brooklyn Nets have signed the 2010 Division II Player of the Year.

Dennis earned a spot on the Net's 18-man training camp roster after a fine summer league performance.

Dennis broke Kutztown's career scoring record and the 2,400-plus points is third in PSAC history.
