Delanie Walker’s life has been an emotional whirlwind the past six weeks. The former 49ers tight end went from the high of playing in the Super Bowl to the low of losing his aunt and uncle in a horrific accident near New Orleans just hours after the game. This week, his path guided him to Tennessee. He believes he joined the Titans for a reason. “I know my auntie and uncle are up there watching me, and I believe that is why I am here with the Tennessee Titans,” Walker said. “The deal I got, and the blessing I got to have an opportunity to be a prime-time player here in Tennessee, I believe they had something to do with that. “It’s hard to understand sometimes why God does what he does. But I want to make them proud, and they’ll be with me here. I will have something for them.”
