Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams told the Tennessean on Monday that coach Mike Munchak will keep his job but fired Senior Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer Mike Reinfeldt.

Reinfeldt ran the team's personnel, in addition to his COO duties. General manager Ruston Webster will reportedly take over running the Titans' personnel.

"(Reinfeldt) had two years left on his deal but I thought we'd be better off without him. He is out," Adams said.

Adams, however, said he is confident in Munchak.

"I think he is the right guy to get the job done," Adams said. "He just needs the right people around him."

The Titans finished 6-10 this season after going 9-7 in 2011, Munchak's first year as coach.
