The Raiders are one of two Berks County teams that will be competing for a state title in field hockey. Along with Oley Valley, Twin Valley is looking to bring state gold back home.

The Raiders have experienced an up-and-down postseason thus far. The team topped the Lynx in the BCIAA Championship game for the second straight year.

However, Twin Valley could not carry the momentum into the District III tournament, falling in the quarterfinals as the second seed.

That forced the county champs to win a pair of play-in games in order to earn a spot in the state tournament. The Raiders did just that, gaining a great amount of team chemistry along the way.

Twin Valley is excited to pursue a state title. The Raiders will begin the chase Tuesday evening at State College against Mifflin County.

Oley Valley, a District III runner-up, will also begin Tuesday. The Lynx take on Lewisburg at Exeter.
