Wilson WL wrestlers upset their way into District semis

SOLANCO, Pa. -

Despite winning their second straight county championship over the weekend, not much was expected from the Wilson wrestling team in Districts.  In fact, they were only the 15th seed entering the tournament.

Apparently the Bulldogs didn't get the memo.

Wilson defeated 2-seed Solanco 28-27 in the first round. The Bulldogs followed that up with another upset of 7-seed Mechanicsburg 41-21.

Wilson advances to Thursday's semi-finals where they will wrestle at 6-seed Chambersburg.
