Aaron Nola to make rehab start with IronPigs Wednesday

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Aaron Nola hasn't pitched since April 20th. That changes Wednesday. But not in Philly.

The righty will make a rehab start at Coca-Cola Park Wednesday night as the Pigs continue their series with Rochester.

Nola has been on the DL since April 24th with a lower back strain.

Nola is 2-0 on the season with a 4.50 ERA. Nick Pivetta has filled his spot in the rotation.

Also of note today, reliever Jeanmar Gomez was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right elbow impingement.

Utility man Ty Kelly was recalled from the Pigs to the Phillies.
