READING, Pa. -

The Albright football team (6-3, 8-3 in 2013) lost 29 seniors and 19 starters to graduation last season. With 13 seniors back this year, the program will rely on its younger players more than in recent seasons.

Head coach John Marzka calls this year's team one of the youngest he's ever had. With that said, he's also very excited about the team's explosiveness and play-making ability. He even called it the most athletic team he's ever seen.

Following back-to-back eight-win seasons, the Lions are a proud program that has no expectation of taking a step back. Senior captain Mark Capetola says the guys believe in the program. Reloading is expected.

In fact, the team's motto is "next man up."

Albright kicks off its season next Friday night at Kean.
