Maikel Franco hit his fifth home run of the season for the IronPigs, and pitcher Greg Smith added a pinch-hit two-run homer of his own.
Barry Enright (3-4, 5.18) gave up eight runs in just two innings of work on the mound.
The loss was the third in a row for the 'Pigs and the sixth in their last seven games.
The IronPigs (30-31) dropped below .500 with the loss.
They'll look to avoid the series sweep in their series finale with the Bats on Friday at 7:05pm at Coca-Cola Park.
