Bethlehem Catholic crowned three state champions and cruised to its third straight team title in a record-setting performance at the PIAA 2A state championships on Saturday at the Giant Center in Hershey.
The Golden Hawks racked up 138 team points - the most ever by a 2A team at the PIAA state championships.
Jake Riegel won gold at 106 lbs with a 3-1 win over Bishop McDevitt's John Pipa.
Luke Karam won gold at 113 lbs with a 5-0 win over Bedford's Jon Gabriel.
And after settling for silver in each of the last two seasons, Zeke Moisey capped off an undefeated season with a gold medal at 126 lbs. Moisey beat Schuylkill Valley's Josh Giorgio, 9-3.
Becahi's Jose Ortiz lost the Lancaster Catholic's Stephen Loiseau 4-0 at 182 lbs.
And Pen Argyl's Brady Mutton suffered a 3-2 loss to returning state champion Sam Breese of Lakeview at 285 lbs.
