Throughout the entire Berks softball season, there have been two teams that are a cut above the rest. Daniel Boone and Brandywine Heights. The Blazers are undefeated at 21-0. As for the the Bullets, defending state champs with 19 wins.

These two will decide who's the best in Berks Wednesday in the BCIAA finals at Lyons field.

The Blazers are coming off a 10-inning walk-off win over Kutztown. In fact, they trailed heading into their final at bat in the 7th inning.

But Boone is a veteran savvy squad. It is one that never panicked and came through in the clutch on Monday.

They did what championship-caliber teams do and hope to repeat Wednesday evening.

For the Bullets, it's the their second championship showdown with Boone in the last three years.

Brandywine came up short two year ago. They also lost to the Blazers earlier this year. In fact, Boone ace Bekah Slattery struck out 13 in that game.

But for the Bullets, that's been out of sight, out of mind. They're just happy to be in another county final.

Brandywine Heights lost to Wilson in last year's county final as well.
