Cloyd roughed up again as IronPigs lose

Tyler Cloyd gave up five runs in the first inning Saturday night in the IronPigs 6-2 loss at Columbus.

Cloyd, last year's International League's Pitcher of the Year, falls to 1-6 on the season with a 7.69 ERA.

The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the IronPigs.

Cameron Rupp had an RBI groundout for the IronPigs, and Cody Asche added an RBI single.

Asche, Josh Fields, Steve Susdorf, and Troy Hanzawa all had two hits on the night.

The 'Pigs outhit the Clippers 10-7 as a team.

The IronPigs (40-35) will continue their series in Columbus Sunday night at 6:05pm.
