NCAA RUNDOWN: ESU, WCU reach PSAC title game

East Stroudsburg and West Chester will meet for the PSAC championship on Sunday after posting narrow wins in the semifinal round on Saturday at ESU's Koehler Field House.

West Chester got a pair of free throws from Emmaus grad Matt Wisely with just five seconds left in overtime to earn a 77-76 win over Gannon in the first semifinal.

In the second game, No. 2 East Stroudsburg trailed Mercyhurst most of the game before rallying for a 63-55 win.

The Warriors improve to 27-1 on the season, and will host the Golden Rams at 3:30pm on Sunday at the Koehler Field House for the championship.

At the Div. III level, DeSales fell in the second round of the NCAA Div. III Tournament Saturday night, losing 77-49 to Mary Washington.

The Bulldogs had knocked off host Randolph-Macon in overtime in their first round game Friday night.

DeSales ends its season at 19-10.
