NCAA RUNDOWN: Moravian, PSU-Berks drop playoff openers

The Moravian and Penn State-Berks baseball teams both lost their first round NCAA Div. III playoff games on Wednesday.

Moravian lost to Haverford 3-1 at PNC Field in Moosic.

Haverford pitcher Tommy Bergjans struck out 13 Greyhounds in the win.

Moravian will play an elimination game on Thursday at 10am against Misericordia.

Penn State-Berks lost to Marietta 14-2 in Marietta, Ohio.

The Nittany Lions will face La Roche on Thursday at 9:30am in their elimination game.
