Penn sends Lafayette to 0-3 start

Lafayette fell to 0-3 on the season Saturday night with a 27-21 loss to Penn at Franklin Field.

The Leopards rallied from a 27-14 deficit and had a chance to drive and win the game, but couldn't complete the comeback.

Quarterback Zack Zweizig, a Wilson West Lawn grad, had to leave the game with a reported concussion.

Ross Scheuerman ran for 55 yards and two touchdowns, and Mark Ross tallied six catches for 70 yards and a score.

Lafayette will have a bye this week before opening Patriot League at home against Bucknell on Oct. 5.
