The Phillies announced on Thursday they will not bring back IronPigs manager Dave Brundage next season.

Reading Fightin Phils manager Dusty Wathan will take over as IronPigs manager next season.

Brundage managed the 'Pigs for four seasons and guided them to a franchise-best 85 wins and the team's second playoff berth this season.

His contract was up after this past season.

The 51-year-old had the longest stint as IronPigs manager, posting a career record of 286-292. He has more than 1370 wins in 19 seasons as a manager.

Wathan, whose contract had also expired, has managed Reading for the past five seasons.

He is the franchise's all-time winningest manager, and has won two Eastern League Manager of the Year awards.

The latest came this season, when he led the Fightins to the best record in the Eastern League.
