The Dieruff Huskies did Emmaus a giant favor on Saturday, stunning arch-rival Allen 51-50, and giving the Green Hornets the last LVC playoff berth in the process.

Had Allen beat Dieruff, the Canaries would have claimed the LVC wildcard spot.

Instead, it was Dieruff, which failed to qualify for the postseason, that pulled off the upset.

Emmaus will be the No. 3 seed and face No. 2 Parkland in the first LVC semifinal at 6pm on Tuesday at Liberty High School.

Undefeated Central Catholic will be the No. 1 seed, and will face No. 4 Bethlehem Catholic in the second semifinal at 7:30pm.
