Eagles lead Patriots 22-12 at half

MINNEAPOLIS - At the half, the Philadelphia Eagles lead the New England Patriots 22-12 in Super Bowl 52 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. It is just the third Super Bowl appearance in Eagles franchise history.

Nick Foles was 13-22, 215 yards, 1 passing touchdown, one receiving touchdown and one interception in the first 30 minutes of play. Tom Brady was 12-23 for 276 yards.

LeGarrette Blount broke off a big run for a touchdown as well. Alshon Jeffery caught three passes for 73 yards and one touchdown in the first half.

Philly never trailed in the first half.

New England kicker Stephen Gostkowski missed a field goal and an extra point in the first half.

Collectively, the two teams combined for 673 total yards of offense in the first two quarters.

The Patriots receive the second half kick-off.
