ESU men advance to PSAC semifinals; ESU, Lehigh women fall Wednesday

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - In a meeting between regional rivals, top-seeded East Stroudsburg continued its recent mastery of (4) Kutztown in an 85-71 win at Koehler Fieldhouse Wednesday in the PSAC Quarterfinals.

The Warriors only led by 3 at the half, but they were able to pull away in the second.

ESU will host Edinboro in the semifinals on Saturday at 3:30.

The (4) KU women also lost their quarterfinal, 81-72, at top-seeded West Chester.

In the early game, the (2) ESU women could not get past (3) Millersville, 91-76, in their quarterfinal.

And in Bethlehem, the Lehigh women fell in their regular season finale, 65-62, to Holy Cross.

But with Army's defeat, Lehigh still secured the 4-seed and a quarterfinal home game in the Patriot League tournament on Monday. They will face the Black Knights.

The Lafayette women lost at Colgate, 60-55.
