Becahi and Spring-Ford Girls advance to Hershey

The Becahi and Spring-Ford girls both advanced to the state championship round in Hershey on Tuesday with semifinal wins.

Becahi advanced with a 44-39 win over Villa Maria, a win that featured another big night from Kalista Walters who had 20 to lead the Golden Hawks.  That win puts Becahi in Hershey on Saturday where they'll try to win a title.

Spring-Ford beat a good Cardinal O'Hara team 53-49 in the AAAA semifinal round.  The Rams, who are ranked 22nd in the country, had to battle to the final buzzer to advance.  They'll play for a state title on Friday.
