Becahi hires Megan Dellegrotti as new girls basketball coach

Megan Dellegrotti takes over for Bill Lanscek at Becahi

The scholastic basketball season officially ended two weeks ago, but today there's a new sheriff in town on Dewberry Avenue in Bethlehem, and her name is Megan Dellegrotti.

Dellegrotti who scored over two thousand points at Berwick, and was a thousand point scorer at Delaware takes over the vaunted program from Bill Lanscek who was notified by the Bethlehem Catholic administration last week that he would not be back for his 11th season.

Dellegrotti resigned from Southern Lehigh at the end of February after five seasons, guiding the Lady Spartans to a 104-28 record with three straight Colonial League titles.

The last two seasons Southern Lehigh lost to Becahi in the District Final and District semifinals.
