Becahi's Moisey wins Beast of the East title

Bethlehem Catholic senior Zeke Moisey and Boyertown sophomore Jordan Wood each won gold medals at the prestigious Beast of the East tournament on Sunday.

Moisey was the 5th-seed in the 126-pound weight class, and pulled off a few upsets to claim the crown.

He knocked off 2nd-seeded Matthew Kolodzik of Blair Academy 7-4 in Sunday's title bout.

Moisey's Becahi teammate, Luke Karam, took home silver at the event.

Wood was dominating in his path to the 220-pound title, picking up three falls and two major decision victories.
