Berks Catholic falls in PIAA state semifinals

Berks Catholic's magical season came to an end on Saturday.

The Saints fell to Philadelphia powerhouse Imhotep Charter 20-0 in the PIAA 2A state semifinals.

Berks Catholic ends the most successful season in school history as Berks Conference and District 3 champs, and with an overall record of 14-1.

Imhotep Charter, who also shut out Catasauqua in the state quarterfinal round, will face South Fayette next Saturday for the PIAA 2A state championship.
