Bethlehem Catholic cruises to fourth straight state title

The Bethlehem Catholic wrestling team is king of the mountain once again.

The Golden Hawks beat Reynolds 41-15 at the Giant Center in Hershey on Saturday, bringing home their fourth consecutive PIAA 2A state dual meet championship.

The win capped off one of the most dominant postseason tournaments in PIAA history.

Bethlehem Catholic won 51 of 56 bouts in Hershey, outscoring its opponents by a combined score of 235-18.

In the 3A tournament, Nazareth lost to eventual state champion Franklin Regional in the state semifinal round, but wrestled back to take third place in the event.

The Blue Eagles beat District 3 champion Cumberland Valley 39-18 to earn third place.
